To provide a one-time financial assistance of Rs. 2000/- to bereaved family members of a deceased person, who are in extreme financial necessity to incur expenditure and other incidental expenses for performing the rites and rituals of the said deceased person at the time of cremation/burial in the Cremation ground/Burial Ground/Burning Ghats located and under the administrative control of Howrah Municipal Corporation.
